Geisinger is seeking a full time Unit Desk Clerk in a patient care setting. The role starts at a minimum rate of $15.75/hour with possible increases for experience and up to $3 shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends.

The position includes extensive clerical duties, patient flow coordination, and collaboration with the care team, with tuition assistance up to $40,000 to pursue nursing education.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication and computer literacy.
• Customer service oriented with teamwork.

Responsabilités

• Perform clerical duties in a patient care environment.
• Coordinate bed assignments and patient transport.
• Process admissions, transfers, discharges and orders according to unit standards.
• Support pharmacy and blood bank transports as needed.
