Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• No prior experience required; CNA/Foundations of Nursing students may enroll in NGHS Academy.
• Ability to work with other departments and the general public.
• Typing skills preferred but not required; ability to operate the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).

Responsibilities

• Obtain and report basic patient physiological data (vital signs, weight, skin condition, urine/stool).
• Assist with positioning, mobility, hygiene, and ADL per procedure.
• Monitor fluids intake and output and document it.
• Identify and report changes to licensed staff.
• Organize patient care and prioritize physician/nursing orders.
• Perform therapeutic procedures as directed and report patient responses.
• Respond promptly to patient calls and communicate with staff.
• Record patient data accurately and forward to supervisory staff.
