Job summary

NTB / Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is hiring full-time Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis at our Gaithersburg, MD center. You will inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide range of undercar repairs, tire work, and preventive maintenance.

Qualifications include at least 2 years of automotive repair experience, a valid state inspection license, and ASE certifications (G1, A4, A5) preferred; candidates should have an extensive toolbox and be able to lift over 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must have 2 years of automotive repair experience and/or training.
• Possess an extensive toolbox of personal tools for undercar repairs.
• State inspection license and ASE certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform automotive services on customers' vehicles.
• Complete state-m mandated inspections and routine maintenance.
• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires as needed.
• Perform oil changes, fluid checks, and part replacements.
