Job summary

Allied Universal® in Tampa, FL is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Roving Patrol Driver to safeguard clients across a busy mall setting. You will conduct unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence, assist tenants and visitors, and report observations.

A valid driver's license is required. The role offers daytime and evening shifts, competitive hourly pay of $17.00, and opportunities for training, growth, and benefits through Allied Universal®.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check as per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and employees by following procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular/random patrols of mall areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond calmly to incidents and escalations per site procedures.
• Monitor access points and report concerns to management.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and communicate with authorities as needed.
