Job summary

Allied Universal in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Security Officer for a Full Time Unarmed Patrol with recordkeeping responsibilities. You will monitor assigned areas, deter incidents, and support access control while delivering exceptional customer service.

Shifts run day-time to evenings including Thu–Sun; pay is $18.50 per hour. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, background check, and mandatory drug screening. CPR/First Aid preferred; training and benefits provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, passengers, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner following location protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and access points to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to designated areas and document incidents per site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and responding agencies to maintain a welcoming environment.
