Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time, Unarmed) in Moore, SC. The role involves patrolling, monitoring access points, and delivering customer service to employees and visitors at a technology location.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and report events according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, offices, common areas, parking areas, loading docks, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry when required, and assist with directing guests, vendors, and deliveries in accordance with site policies.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift records, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
