Job summary

St. Moritz Security Services, Inc. is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer Floater for the Wyomissing area serving the Reading region. The role requires reliable transportation, English fluency, and a commitment to professional conduct on site.

The position offers a Day shift / 1st shift schedule with a pay rate of $18.04 per hour and opportunities for advancement. Candidates must be able to work in Reading as needed and pass pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
Graduated from an accredited high school or possess a GED equivalent.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Possess a valid driver’s license (if in a driving assignment).
Willing to participate in pre-employment process including background check and drug testing.

Responsibilities

Monitors entrance and exit points.
Detects suspicious activities and watch for criminal acts or client rule infractions at or near assigned post which may threaten property, client or employees.
Act professionally, courteously, and effectively with the public.
Reports all incidents, accidents or medical emergencies.
Understands and executes post orders including enforcement of client and company policies, rules and regulations.
Carry out oral and written instructions.
Implement safety precautions.
General security functions as needed.
