Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver) in Renton, WA. You will provide security, perform routine patrols, monitor access points, and respond calmly to incidents while delivering excellent customer service to aerospace/defense locations.

The role requires a valid driver's license and high school diploma, with computer use, badge familiarity, and the ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid driver's license per policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation conducted as a condition of employment.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and according to reporting procedures.
• Conduct routine and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, and entry points.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry per site procedures.
• Document observations and incidents, and communicate findings to leadership and site contacts.
