Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber in Gaylord, MI. This full-time, non-exempt role performs tree trimming, limb removal, and debris processing while operating varied hand and power tools. You will load materials, manage brush, and assist with safety measures on job sites.

Responsibilities include traffic control, equipment maintenance, assisting training, and ensuring safe, tidy work areas. A compassionate team environment and competitive hourly pay accompany benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Climb ladders and work at various heights in challenging weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service required tools and equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Sprays areas with equipment to prevent growth.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds brush into a woodchipper.
• Repairs minor damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.
• Safeguards employees and the public from hazards in work areas.
• Setup barriers and warning signs to protect people.
