Job Title: Full Time Tree Care Ground Worker

Location: Murray, Utah

Job Description:

We are seeking a diligent and hardworking individual to join our team as a Full Time Tree Care Ground Worker. As a member of our tree care crew, you will play a crucial role in assisting our arborists in the maintenance and care of trees on residential and commercial properties. Our work schedule is Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays. Ground workers are required to perform heavy physical duties on a variety of tasks which are generally either unskilled or semi-skilled in nature. In this role we can train you to become a professional arborist tree climber.

Responsibilities:
- Assist arborists climbers in pruning, trimming, and removing trees using safe and efficient techniques

- Operate chainsaws, wood chippers, and other equipment under the supervision of experienced arborists

- Perform ground maintenance tasks such as raking, hauling debris, and cleaning up work sites

- Use ropes and various hand tools

- Drive and operate vehicles to transport equipment and crew to various job sites

- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others

- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and accurately

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in grounds maintenance or landscaping preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy objects
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills. Good attitude.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic knowledge of tree care practices and equipment
