Job summary

US Oncology Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Radiation Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team across Melbourne, Palm Bay, and Merritt Island on a float schedule.

The role involves delivering expert nursing care in a fast-paced oncology setting and coordinating patient care with the interdisciplinary team. You will provide oncology nursing care under general supervision, ensure accurate documentation, and support patient education and family needs while maintaining safety and compliance

Qualifications

• RN licensed in Florida with current licensure.
• Oncology experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• RNs at all levels considered based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate and promote continuity of care.
• Assess health status and document interventions and outcomes.
• Administer therapies under physician supervision and obtain consents.
• Coordinate tests, referrals and follow-up appointments for patients.
• Provide patient and family education and psychosocial support.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with oncology protocols.
