Job summary

ESFM, the corporate Integrated Facilities Management division of Compass Group USA, is seeking a full-time Trash Technician in Fort Wayne, IN. This role collects, transports, and properly disposes of trash and bio-hazardous materials following established safety protocols.

No experience is required; training will be provided. Multiple shifts are available, including Sunday–Wednesday, days and nights, or Wednesday–Saturday, days and nights. Pay range: $15.50–$16.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have physical ability to walk, stand and push trash containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.
• No experience is necessary. Willing to train!

Responsibilities

• Identifies, transports, and disposes of trash, chemicals, and bio‑hazardous materials using proper safety procedures.
• Performs cleaning functions as assigned; properly operates cleaning equipment as designated.
• Recognizes safety hazards and acts accordingly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
