Job summary

Future Stars Academy in Lomita is seeking a FULL-TIME experienced Toddler Class Teacher to work ~9am–6pm, Monday–Friday. 12 ECE units including Infant/Toddler are preferred; we will consider candidates willing to complete the course. Center-based experience with toddlers or 2-year-olds is ideal.

Qualifications

• Must have 12 ECE units including Infant/Toddler.
• Center-based experience with a Toddler or 2-Year-Old classroom.
• Familiar with Title 22 Licensing protocols.
• Willing to assist the right candidate in completing ECE units.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a constructive rapport with children and parents.
• Create activities/curriculum that are fun and educational for children.
• Collaborate with other teachers to ensure a nurturing environment for every child.
• Deliver reports on potential concerns about students to management as needed.
• Manage day-to-day classroom activities, including structured lessons, free play, lunch and rest time.
• Diapering/potty training/feeding as needed.
• Follow Licensing/ Title 22 regulations.
