Job summary

The Learning Experience - Glen Allen is seeking Assistant Toddler Teachers for a 2-year-old classroom. Join a fast-growing early education academy committed to helping children learn through play while using our proprietary LEAP curriculum and engaging characters.

You will support classroom management, communicate with families, and collaborate with staff in a joyful, growth-minded environment. Opportunities for advancement exist for dedicated educators.

Qualifications

• Must love children and be nurturing and caring.
• Two years of professional experience in ECE preferred or twelve months required.
• Associate degree or higher in ECE or related field preferred or HS diploma/GED required.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for overall classroom management in a safe, nurturing environment.
• Implement the LEAP curriculum using engaging characters to drive learning.
• Communicate regularly with parents via apps and personal discussions.

Responsibilities of Toddler Teacher

• Be responsible for the overall classroom management, leading a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children.
• Use your passion for learning to implement our proprietary L.E.A.P curriculum and have the unique opportunity to use our engaging characters to drive the curriculum, making TLE a fun place for children.
• Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their children’s latest adventures and achievements through a variety of avenues, including mobile apps and personal discussions.
• Build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.

Requirements for Toddler Teachers:

• Must have love for children and a nurturing and caring nature for children
• Have a genuine passion for the education and care of children.
• Two year of professional experience (preferred) or twelve months of professional experience (required).
• Associate degree or higher in ECE or related degree (preferred) or High school diploma/GED (required).
