Job summary

SteppingStones Preschool & Day Care in Hopedale, MA is seeking a Full-time Toddler Teacher to join a lead teacher in a 9-child classroom for ages 15 months to 2.9 years. Hours are 8:00-5:00 with a lunch break. Immediate start with a positive, nurturing environment and 30-year history of quality care.

You will assist with daily activities, organize the classroom, and contribute to weekly curriculum planning while ensuring safety and supportive care for young children.

Qualifications

• Requires EEC teacher certification and 1+ year of relevant childcare experience.
• Ability to supervise and support a toddler classroom (15 months to 2.9 years).
• Willingness to assist lead teacher with planning activities and classroom organization.

Job Description

HOURS: 8:00-5:00 Monday through Friday with a 12:00-1:00 lunch break.

This position is for a toddler teacher. You will be working alongside a lead teacher. There are 9 children in this classroom. Ages in this group are 15 months to 2.9 years old.

Our center has been open for 30 years! We have a very friendly staff and a great group of children. We pride ourselves on providing quality care for our families and a positive work environment for our staff. We are looking for a teacher who is dependable, patient, positive and nurturing! You will help the lead teacher with responsibilities such as: caring for/supervising/playing with the children, helping to organize the classroom, assist in planning activities and prepping art projects for our weekly curriculum, diapering and light cleaning, etc.

We are looking for someone who is already EEC teacher certified with previous child care experience.
