Job summary

Wintrust Financial Corporation in Chicago is seeking a Full-Time Teller to process a variety of transactions, balance cash, and serve customers in lobby or drive-up.

Qualifications: minimum 6 months of cash handling or customer service, a high school diploma or GED, ability to work all shifts including Saturdays, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Compensation: hourly rate $19.00–$21.00 with eligibility for an annual bonus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience in cash handling or customer service
• High school degree or GED required
• Travel between branches may be necessary
• Must be available to work all shifts including Saturdays
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time

Responsibilities

• Process a variety of financial transactions (check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, loan payments, etc.) and accurately balance these transactions
• Operate a teller drawer to serve customers and bank personnel in lobby or drive up.
• Recognize potential cross-sell opportunities and direct customers to appropriate bank personnel.
• Develop skills to recognize potential fraud and report to management as necessary.
• Comply with all department, bank and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Uphold established Wintrust culture.
• May be responsible for bank opening/closing and may be required to participate in community events.
