Job summary

Wintrust Financial Corporation is hiring a Full-Time Teller in Chicago to process cash transactions, balance drawer, and assist customers in-person and at the drive-up. You will identify cross-sell opportunities and support bank operations.

The role requires a minimum 6 months in cash handling or customer service, a high school diploma, and flexibility for shift work including Saturdays. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods is expected.

Qualifications

Minimum 6 months of experience in cash handling or customer service.
Travel between branches may be necessary.
Must be available to work all shifts including Saturdays.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

Process a variety of financial transactions (check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, loan payments, etc.) and balance accurately.
Operate a teller drawer and serve customers in lobby or drive up.
Recognize cross-sell opportunities and direct customers to appropriate staff.
Identify potential fraud and report to management as necessary.
Comply with all policies and uphold Wintrust culture.
May support bank opening/closing and participate in community events.
