Position Overview

Our Tellers builds and strengthen Member relationships through personalized service, proactive follow-up, and consultative financial conversations. This role supports everyday banking needs, processes transactions accurately, and identifies opportunities to recommend products and services that support Members’ financial goals while contributing to overall branch success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform cash and non-cash transactions accurately while adhering to credit union procedures, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
  • Support account servicing and consumer lending activities, including loan applications, disbursements, and digital banking support.
  • Collaborate effectively with branch team members and internal departments to resolve Member concerns, support operational success, and deliver exceptional Member experience.
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Minimum six months of cash handling, retail, customer service, or financial services experience preferred.

Demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional Member experiences through relationship-building, personalized service, and identifying opportunities to connect Members with products and services that meet their financial needs.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to create welcoming and positive Member interactions while confidently using technology and digital banking tools.

Demonstrated teamwork, accountability, adaptability, and willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative, relationship-focused branch environment.

Work is performed in a public-facing branch environment with frequent Member interaction throughout the workday. The position requires extended periods of standing at the teller line, intermittent walking throughout the branch, and regular use of computers and telephones. Seating is available behind the teller line as operationally appropriate. Responsibilities may include occasional lifting, moving, or positioning of equipment, coin, supplies, and routine document handling. The role requires the ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis. Work Schedule

40-hour work week
