Job summary

TruStone Financial Credit Union in Golden Valley, MN, is seeking a friendly member service representative to welcome members, promote financial well-being, and help achieve branch goals through internal and external sales.

You will build rapport with members, cross-sell financial products, and efficiently process routine inquiries and transactions while safeguarding assets and adhering to policy. A high school diploma and cash handling or customer service experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (or in active pursuit of with a specified end date).
• One year of experience interacting with the public or serving customers.
• One year of cash handling experience, preferred.
• Previous sales experience or strong interest in sales, preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a desire to help people.
• Effective communication skills (verbal and non-verbal), interpersonal skills, and active listening skills.
• Good decision-making skills and judgement.
• Ability to perform calculations and proficiency in basic math skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work and maintain accurate records.
• Ability to communicate with a diverse membership and employee population.
• A professional and friendly appearance and demeanor.
• Compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and all its provisions.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and various background checks.
• Regular and reliable attendance at the workplace.

Availability to work 40 hours per week Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:15am - 5:45pm and rotating Saturdays 8:45am - 1:15pm at ourGolden Valley branch location; non-exempt.

The salary range for this position is $18.00 to $19.75 per hour. In addition, we offer:
