Job summary

TruStone Financial Credit Union is seeking a part-time member services associate at our Fridley branch. You will welcome members, provide friendly service, and help achieve branch sales goals while handling routine inquiries and transactions with accuracy.

Responsibilities include cross-selling products to deepen relationships, processing transactions, and maintaining security of assets. A high school diploma and customer service experience are preferred, with 26 hours weekly across weekday

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (or in active pursuit with a specified end date).
• One year of experience interacting with the public or serving customers.
• One year of cash handling experience preferred.
• Previous sales experience or strong interest in sales preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; active listening is essential.
• Ability to perform calculations and basic math skills.
• Organize and prioritize work; maintain accurate records.
• Ability to communicate with a diverse membership and employee population.

Job description

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Welcome members into the branch and provide friendly, helpful service that promotes a positive financial well-being. Responsible for meeting established Credit Union and Branch goals for internal and external sales to existing and potential members. Build rapport with members to cross-sell financial products and services that deepen relationships and fosters branch growth while adhering to credit union policy and procedures. Accurately and efficiently process a variety of routine financial inquiries, transactions, and service requests. Secure credit union assets, balance transactions, and complete necessary reports.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

Availability to work 26 hours per week; 3-4 weekday shifts and every Saturday. These shifts would be 8:15am - 4:45pm, 8:45am - 5:15pm, or 9:15am - 5:45pm during the week, and Saturdays from 8:45am - 1:15pm, at our Fridley branch location; non-exempt.

In addition:

• High school diploma or equivalent (or in active pursuit of with a specified end date).

The salary range for this position is $18.00 to $19.75 per hour. In addition, we offer:
