Job summary

Coming Attractions Theatres, Inc. seeks a Technician to support the service crew in maintaining and repairing arcade and amusement equipment inside the center.

You will work under the Technical Manager and ensure safety, cleanliness, and reliable operation of games, rides, and registers. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Assist in arcade maintenance under the technical manager and/or general manager.
  • Repair and replace defective components on video games and equipment.
  • Perform daily preventative maintenance and on-demand repairs.
  • Maintain facilities that are clean, safe, and in good repair.
  • Troubleshoot basic issues and communicate daily occurrences.

Description

The Technician service crew must be knowledgeable of company policies and procedures and be able to implement these effectively. The Technician is responsible for assisting in the performance of all arcade maintenance. Technician must maintain positive customer and crew relations.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Work under the guidance of the Technical Manager and/or General Manager
  • Working on the latest video games and skill games, kiddie rides, soft play, bumper cars, laser tag, mini bowling, racing karts, kitchen equipment, and register systems.
  • Repair and/or replace defective electronic components and take responsibility for timely scheduled and unscheduled inspections.
  • Perform daily preventative maintenance and repairs on arcade games and equipment.
  • Maintains facilities that are clean, safe, and in good repair
  • Provide routine maintenance support
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing about daily occurrences that arise.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and basic repairs of corporate machinery.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Responsible for other duties as assigned by Technical Manager
  • Assist in coaching, training, and continually developing all Assistant Tech and Arcade Attendants.

Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check.
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
  • Ability to work flexible hours, which include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
  • Basic working knowledge of hand tools
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Have work flexibility (nights, weekends, and holidays)
  • Attention to detail.
  • Time management and a sense of urgency.
  • Have good communication and interpersonal skills, in addition to good client/customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with a team.
Working Conditions
  • The work for this position is performed mainly inside the fun center
  • Strong customer service is essential for this position
  • The position requires routine walking, standing, bending, twisting and carrying items weighing no more than fifty pounds
  • This position requires availability nights, weekends, and holidays
