Our Teachers are critical to our success at Harris Early Learning Center! In this role, you will have the important opportunity to plan, create, and implement daily programs for preschool learning environments. Each classroom is staffed with two full-time Teachers, and we have 16 classrooms at the Center.

State of Alabama Teacher Salary Matrix:
Salaries are determined by level of education and years of experience.
Teachers are paid bi-weekly, and are classified as non-exempt by the Fair Labor Standards Act. This is a one-year limited-term appointment. Continuation of employment is contingent upon the availability of funding.

If selected you will be required to obtain a CPR /First Aid Certificate within 60 days of hire, and a TB Skin Test.

Salary Range: $32,000 - $46,000. Annual salaries are based on the matrix in the Job Summary section of this posting.
