The teachers of exceptional students are responsible for planning and implementing effective instruction based on students’ Individual Education Programs (IEPs). Teachers report to their respective Program Supervisor.
The role requires the ability to lift and assist pupils of various ages, perform bending, stooping, squatting, and physically restrain students in emotional distress using approved methods such as CPI, Safe Crisis Management, or QBS: Safety-Care Crisis Prevention, as directed by program needs.
