Job description

Summary

Clayton Early Childhood Center is seeking an educator with experience and passion for the education of young children. Our toddler/two classrooms have eight-14 children enrolled and we are seeking a third, full-time educator for a two year old classroom. Our ratios for most of the school day exceed the state requirement, allowing for individualized attention and experiences for our students.

Duties

• Supporting supervision policies and practices
• Ensure that each child's needs are met throughout the day
• Communicating with other classroom teachers and families
• Provide support to the classroom to help execute developmental experiences
• Assist in documenting daily requirements and developmental milestones

Requirements

Prior to employment, completing the following:

• Physical
• TB Test
• Background Screening
• Fingerprinting Screening
• Drug Test

Once employed:

• Maintaining required professional development hours
• Sitting on the floor/ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Certification in CPR/First Aid
• Certification in Safe Sleep Practices
