Job summary

LearnWell in Holyoke, MA is seeking a dedicated teacher to join our behavioral health facility program for school-age patients. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm, with a 40-hour workweek and responsibilities spanning lesson planning, individualized student support, and progress updates with families and treatment staff.

You will monitor teaching strategies, maintain attendance and session reports, and contribute to a small classroom of 8–15 students, helping students stay

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree from an accredited institution.
• MA state teaching license.
• Comfortable working with K-12 students.

For more than 26 years, we have provided on-site educational services in hospitals, helping these school-age patients continue their education during treatment and reintegrate successfully into the classroom. Currently, we are seeking a passionate and creative teacher to join our team in Holyoke, MA on a full-time basis starting this school year. This unique position will involve working in a fast-paced behavioral health facility, providing academic support tochild and adolescentschool-age patients in a small classroom setting as they receive treatment.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to plan and deliver daily lesson plans, provide individualized assistance to students, and regularly communicate about student progress as needed. Additionally, you will monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success and maintain accurate attendance and session reports. Most of our class sizes range from 8 to 15 school-age patients at any one time.

Position entails a 40-hour a week commitment, Monday-Friday, 7:30-4:00pm.
