Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and creative teacher to join our team in Anchorage, AK on a full-time basis for the school year. This unique position will involve working in fast-paced behavioral health in-patient facility, providing academic support to child and adolescent school-age patients in a small classroom setting as they receive treatment.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to plan and deliver daily lesson plans, provide individualized assistance to students, and regularly communicate about student progress as needed. Additionally, you will monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success and maintain accurate attendance and session reports. Most of our class sizes range from 14 to 16 school-age patients at any one time.

Position entails a 40-hour a week commitment, Monday-Friday, 7:30 am-4:00 pm.
