Job summary

Dixie Technical College in St. George, Utah, is seeking a Videographer/Photographer to plan, film, photograph, and edit the visual stories of our students, programs, alumni, employers, and community. This on-campus role handles projects from idea to delivery using the Adobe Suite and collaborates daily with the marketing team.

As a full-time member of the marketing team, you will interact with students and community partners, and support campaigns with compelling visual storytelling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Professional video production and photography experience for a company, institution, agency, or similar organization.
• Demonstrated experience creating both social media video and long‑form storytelling content.
• Portfolio demonstrating professional video and photography work required.

Responsibilities

• Create short‑form social media videos, long‑form storytelling videos, photography, and other visual content.
• Develop original story ideas, and write scripts, interview questions, and shot lists.
• Set up and operate cameras, lighting, audio equipment, and other production equipment.
• Conduct and film interviews, and cover College programs, events, and student experiences.
• Edit video, audio, photography, and graphics for final production using Adobe Suite.
