Join to apply for the Full-Time Store Manager Trainee role at ALDI USA.

As a Store Manager Trainee, you will train on all aspects of successfully running a store in preparation for managing your own store. Responsibilities include supervising daily store activities, ensuring overall store performance, staffing, scheduling, developing operational plans, and mentoring the team.

Position Details
  • Type: Full-Time
  • Hours: 45 hours/week
  • Starting Wage: $37.50/hour
  • Potential Year 1 Earnings: Up to $142,500 (salary + bonus)
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Supervise daily operations and team performance to ensure high customer service standards
  • Communicate and model company values to foster teamwork
  • Handle customer concerns and resolve issues
  • Maintain store signage, product quality, and freshness
  • Assist in hiring, training, and evaluating staff
  • Manage schedules and performance expectations
  • Conduct store meetings and identify development opportunities
  • Achieve payroll and loss budgets
  • Manage cash audits and monitor the competitive environment
  • Provide product feedback and manage inventory
  • Ensure a safe environment and proper equipment operation
Physical Demands
  • Stocking merchandise, lifting up to 45 pounds, and performing store tasks
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and walk regularly
Qualifications
  • Must be 18+ years old
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
  • Customer service and leadership skills
  • Ability to interpret policies and manage performance
  • Experience with budgeting and operating equipment
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • State requirements for handling alcohol (if applicable)
Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • At least 3 years in retail, management experience preferred
Travel
  • Willing to train at multiple locations as needed
