As a Store Manager Trainee, you’ll train on all aspects of successfully running a store in preparation for managing your own store. Responsibilities include supervising daily store activities, ensuring store performance, staffing, scheduling, developing operational plans, and mentoring the team.

Position Details
  • Type: Full-Time
  • Hours: 48-50 hours/week
  • Starting Wage: $26.50/hour
  • Year 1 Earning Potential: Up to $94,000 (salary + bonus)
Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate ALDI's core competencies and professionalism
  • Supervise store operations and team performance
  • Communicate company values and foster teamwork
  • Handle customer concerns effectively
  • Maintain store signage and product quality
  • Assist in hiring and training staff
  • Manage schedules and performance expectations
  • Conduct meetings and evaluations

  • Ensure store safety and proper equipment operation
  • Oversee merchandising, inventory, and store policies
Physical and Job Qualifications
  • Ability to stock merchandise, lift up to 45 pounds, and perform physical tasks
  • Must be 18+ years old
  • Strong customer service and team leadership skills
  • Ability to interpret policies and manage performance
  • Knowledge of cash handling and safety standards
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • At least 3 years retail experience, management preferred
Travel

Flexibility to travel between locations as needed for training.
