As a Store Manager Trainee, you’ll train on all aspects of successfully running a store in preparation for managing your own store. Responsibilities include supervising daily store activities, ensuring store performance, staffing, scheduling, developing operational plans, and mentoring the team.

Position Details

• Type: Full-Time
• Hours: 45 hours/week
• Starting Wage: $26.50/hour
• Potential Year 1 Earnings: Up to $94,000 (salary + bonus)

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's core competencies and professional skills.
• Supervise store operations and team performance.
• Communicate company strategy and core values.
• Handle customer concerns and ensure resolution.
• Maintain store signage, product quality, and freshness.
• Assist in hiring and training staff.
• Manage schedules and set performance expectations.

Physical and Job Qualifications

• Ability to stock merchandise and handle weights up to 45 pounds.
• Must be able to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and walk regularly.
• Must meet age requirements and have ability to operate equipment safely.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 3 years retail experience; management experience preferred.

Travel

Training may require travel to multiple locations.
