Job summary

ALDI USA is hiring a Store Associate to merchandise, stock, cashier, and clean to keep the store looking its best. You will work with the ALDI team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

The role is full-time with an average of 30+ hours per week. Starting wage is $18.50 per hour, with scheduled increases over the first five years of employment. Benefits and opportunities for growth are provided to eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Operate store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, cardboard baler.
• Follow ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Perform basic arithmetic and handle cash accurately.
• Work independently or with others to meet goals.
• Maintain reliable attendance and meet availability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise and stock product according to planograms.
• Cashier and assist customers at checkout.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety standards.
• Assist with curbside pickup orders and staging.
• Support management in achieving loss-prevention and operational goals.
• Follow all policies and procedures and keep equipment in good working order.
• Collaborate with team to optimize efficiency and customer experience.
