Job summary

ALDI is seeking a Store Associate in the Matthews, NC area to enhance the shopper experience through cash handling, stocking, merchandising, and clean store maintenance. You will work with the ALDI team to deliver exceptional service and support daily store operations.

The role involves handling POS transactions, following cash policies, and maintaining inventory accuracy while meeting availability and safety standards. Full-time schedule with 30+ hours weekly is typical.

Qualifications

• Must provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate all store equipment such as cash registers and POS systems.
• Ability to follow ALDI policies and procedures and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Models and fulfills all customer service principles and escalates concerns to store management as necessary.
• Informs store management of loss due to outdated or damaged products.
• Uses POS system to scan and process purchases and report scanning issues to management.
• Adheres to cash policies and procedures.
• Opens additional check lanes as needed for efficient checkout.
• Stocks shelves and displays neatly following merchandising plans.
• Completes curbside pickup orders accurately and on time.
