Join to apply for the Full-Time Store Associate role at ALDI USA.

As a Store Associate, you’ll be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and cleaning to maintain store appearance. You will enhance the customer shopping experience by working collaboratively with the ALDI team and providing exceptional customer service.

Position Details

• Type: Full-Time
• Hours: 32-40 hours/week
• Starting Wage: $18.50/hour
• Wage Increases: Year 2 - $19.00, Year 3 - $19.50

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, clean, stock shelves, and merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Communicate effectively with team and management
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and store issues
• Participate in inventory counts and monitoring
• Follow cash policies and procedures
• Adhere to company policies, ensuring security and confidentiality
• Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

• Stock merchandise, lift up to 45 lbs, and perform physical tasks like sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older
• Provide prompt, courteous customer service
• Operate cash register accurately
• Operate equipment safely
• Perform cleaning duties to standards
• Interpret and apply company policies
• Excellent communication skills
• Work independently and in teams
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
• Meet state requirements for handling alcohol (if applicable)

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Retail experience preferred
• Equivalent education and experience acceptable
