Join to apply for the Full-Time Store Associate role at ALDI USA.

As a Store Associate, you’ll be responsible for merchandising and stocking product, cashiering, and cleaning to keep the store looking its best. You’ll enhance the customer shopping experience by working collaboratively with the ALDI team and providing exceptional customer service.

Position Details

• Type: Full-Time
• Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
• Wage Increases: Year 2 - $17.50, Year 3 - $18.00, Year 4 - $18.00, Year 5 - $19.00

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, perform cleaning duties, stock shelves and merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and store issues
• Participate in inventory counts and monitor stock accuracy
• Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses
• Adhere to company policies, ensuring security and confidentiality
• Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Demands

• Stock merchandise, lift weights up to 45 pounds, and place products at various heights
• Regularly sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk within the store
• Perform duties with or without reasonable accommodations

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Operate cash register accurately
• Safely operate equipment like hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and balers
• Perform cleaning duties to standards
• Interpret and apply company policies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcohol, if applicable

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Retail experience preferred
• Equivalent education and experience acceptable
