Job description

Trig's is considered more of a collection than a chain. Each store is designed to uniquely serve its community in a very personal and committed way, taking on the personality of its region. Our story began in 1971 when Trig and Tula Solberg purchased the first, single small store in Land O'Lakes, Wisconsin. Today, T.A. Solberg Company, Inc. operates Trig's grocery stores in the Northern Wisconsin communities of Rhinelander, Minocqua, Eagle River, and Tomahawk.

Job Responsibilities Include:
  1. Provide Excellent Guest Service at all times, allowing our guests to have an exceptional shopping experience.
  2. Working well with Teammates to foster a positive and respectful environment.
  3. Unloading and Sorting Grocery, Dairy, and Frozen Deliveries.
  4. Transporting Product to the correct selling location on shelves, in coolers, and on displays using various carts, pallets, and other equipment.
  5. Ensuring the product is stocked accurately, with the proper orientation on the shelf, and maximizing the holding capacity.
  6. Properly sorting, organizing, and condensing overstock in the correct areas according to company standards.
  7. Keeping aisles clean and organized as stocking procedures occur to ensure guests have adequate space to shop.
  8. Helping guests with locating products and retrieving products in the back storage areas if needed.
  9. Disposing of cardboard safely.
  10. Disposing of any damaged product safely and reporting the damaged product appropriately for records.
  11. Operating power equipment if applicable (Power Jacks, Forklifts, Cardboard Compactor, Lift Units - training will be provided; Must be 18+ Years of Age).
