Job summary

Iberia Comprehensive Community Health Center is seeking a full-time Staff Physician at its Many, LA location to provide independent medical care for adult patients and oversee clinical activities. The role requires a LA medical license and board eligibility/certification, with the Medical Director providing consultation as needed.

Responsibilities include prescribing medications, supervising support staff, and delivering comprehensive primary care across age groups, including minor procedures

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved and accredited Medical School.
• Licensed to practice Medicine in Louisiana; Medical School diploma; Board Certification or Board Eligible; DEA Certificates.
• Community health center and management experience is helpful.
• Ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care across age groups.

Responsibilities

• Render safe, quality care to patients and prescribe meds.
• Supervise medical support staff and manage patient care.
• Provide primary care services across adult and geriatric populations.
• Perform routine procedures and manage emergencies on site.
