Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to support the Pharmacy Manager in running a full-service CVS Pharmacy. You will ensure patient safety, provide high-quality care, and help manage staff, inventory and regulatory requirements in a busy retail setting.

You will lead by example, mentor technicians, and contribute to patient care initiatives while delivering empathetic service and safeguarding profitability. This role offers full-time hours and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacy License in the state of employment
• Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA)
• No pending felony charges or convictions involving controlled substances

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety and high-quality pharmacy services
• Oversee pharmacy operations and staff guidance
• Maintain regulatory compliance and quality assurance
• Deliver excellent customer service and patient counseling
• Manage inventory, workflow and profitability while minimizing loss
• Lead and develop Pharmacy Support Staff and coordinate with the Pharmacy Manager
• Contribute to patient care programs to improve health outcomes
• Support adherence to CVS Health policies and procedures
• Represent CVS Health values in daily interactions
