Responsibilities

• Screen, examine, and evaluate residents to establish diagnoses and develop care plans
• Develop treatment goals, implement plans, and document services
• Participate in resident care and staff meetings
• Consult with other disciplines and make referrals
• Provide high-quality, compassionate customer service
• Manage clinical programming and maintain efficiency standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Current, unencumbered license to practice as an SLP in this state
• Minimum two years of experience in a medical facility setting
• Training in rehabilitative and restorative therapy practices
• Knowledge of SLP procedures
• Maintain supplies and therapy area appearance
• Ability to communicate resident conditions effectively
• GFY/CCC certification from ASHA
• Successful completion of background check and physical/drug screen
• New graduates encouraged to apply
