Qualifications

• Previous special education or school-based teaching experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver individualized and small-group instruction addressing students' academic needs and IEP objectives.
• Adapt instructional content, assignments, and assessments to accommodate different learning abilities.
• Evaluate student growth by tracking academic performance and adjusting teaching methods.
• Oversee IEP implementation by developing, updating, and maintaining IEPs in accordance with requirements.
• Promote positive learning environments by encouraging participation and establishing routines.
• Coordinate student services by working with general education teachers and related-service professionals.
• Maintain family communication by sharing updates with parents and caregivers.
• Complete educational records including progress reports and records.
• Participate in team meetings by attending IEP conferences and multidisciplinary discussions.
