Responsibilities include developing and implementing IEPs, providing direct instruction in various settings, collaborating with general education staff and parents, monitoring progress, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• Valid state certificate in Special Education (Mild to Moderate or Moderate to Severe).
• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Experience working with students with disabilities preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and community members.
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Provide direct instruction in various settings: one-on-one, small group, and whole class.
• Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to each student's learning style.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents.
• Monitor and assess student progress; adjust instruction as needed.
• Maintain records of student performance and IEP compliance.
