Job summary

Iron County is seeking a Sign Technician to perform a range of semi-skilled and skilled tasks in the preparation, manufacturing, and installation of signs and warning devices. You will work under the supervision of the Iron County Engineer and Senior Sign Technician.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of related experience, and a valid Utah Driver License. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and pass a background check as part of the employment process.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of verifiable equipment operating, construction, or closely related experience.
• Must have a valid Utah Driver License.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of semi-skilled and skilled duties related to the preparation, manufacturing and installation of signs and warning devices.
• Other departmental duties as assigned.
