Qualifications
Two years of college or equivalent skills in interpreting.
Paraprofessional Certificate and Georgia Educational Interpreter License preferred.
Two years of experience interpreting for the deaf or hard of hearing, preferably in an educational setting.
Responsibilities
Interpret lecture material accurately for students.
Assist with school functions outside class on an as-needed basis.
Promote good public relations between hearing impaired students and staff.
