Job summary

Trek Store Arnold is seeking a Service Technician to care for bikes, troubleshoot repairs, and service a range of bicycles. You will gain hands-on experience with new models while building strong relationships with customers who rely on your expertise.

We value hospitality, a willingness to learn, and a proactive approach to keeping gear in top shape. Prior mechanical experience is welcomed but not required; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Self-motivation with a team-oriented mindset and willingness to pitch in on any task.
• Hospitality-focused demeanor with strong listening and helping skills.
• Excellent communication skills in customer interactions.
• Great attention to detail and hands-on tinkering mindset.
• Desire to learn bike servicing and new technologies.
• Prior mechanic experience is not required.

Job Description

As a Trek Service Technician, no one day is the same as the last. This job is all about caring for bikes so their owners love riding them. You’ll troubleshoot repairs and service all kinds of bikes, and you’ll be the first to have your hands on brand new models before they hit the sales floor. Most importantly, you’ll build relationships with people who trust you to keep their gear running flawlessly.

We’re looking for a teammate with stellar customer service chops, a willingness to learn, and a real motivation to build skills as a technician. So, if you’ve already worked as a mechanic, that’s great. But if not, we’ll train you.
