Job summary

Encore at Foulk is currently hiring for a FT Server. The Server is responsible for table service in the Community dining rooms, greeting residents and guests, and ensuring courteous, attentive dining experiences.

Responsibilities include setting tables, taking orders, clearing dishes, and maintaining clean, sanitary work areas. Training is provided, with emphasis on excellent hospitality and teamwork in a resident-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.
• Experience waiting tables in a hotel, restaurant or club; training will be provided.
• Ability to interpret and explain menu items and coordinate service.
• Work well with residents, guests and staff with courtesy and tact.

Responsibilities

• Sets tables and maintains work stations in proper order.
• Takes orders, provides service and items courteously.
• Clears dishes from tables during and after meals.
• Answers questions about menu items.
• Assists with dishwashing and distribution of clean dishes as needed.
• Maintains safe and sanitary conditions in work areas.
• Attends trainings and completes assigned tasks.
