Job summary

Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is seeking a Full-Time Server to create joyful, dining experiences for residents. You will join a collaborative team, delivering meals, assisting with service details, and contributing to a caring community atmosphere.

Ideal candidates are 15+, available Monday–Friday 7:30am–2:00pm with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, and able to work in English. Food handler permits within two weeks may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years old.
• Ability to work Monday-Friday 7:30am to 2:00pm with flexibility to evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must communicate effectively in English with residents, guests, and employees.
• Ability to secure required food handler permits as required by local ordinances within two weeks of hire.
• State regulations may require work permit before beginning employment; guidance provided by Community Manager.

Responsibilities

• Make residents’ mornings special by greeting them and delivering breakfast and lunch with personal, compassionate service.
• Clear and reset tables, maintain a tidy dining room, refill water carafes, and set tables before meals.
• Help keep areas clean and organized by vacuuming carpets and cleaning the salad bar as needed.
• Deliver room service meals and pick up trays with a friendly attitude.
• Listen to resident feedback and share it with a manager when appropriate.
• Assist with other tasks and support roles as directed by supervisors.

About the Role

• As a Full-Time Server, you’ll do more than serve meals, you’ll create meaningful dining experiences that bring joy to residents. As part of a collaborative team, you’ll share ideas, respond thoughtfully to feedback, and contribute to a positive, caring community environment.

What We’re Looking For

• Must be at least 15 years of age or older.
• Ability to work Monday-Friday 7:30am to 2:00pm with flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English with residents, guests, and employees.
• Ability to secure required food handler permits as required by local ordinances within two (2) weeks of hire.
• State regulations may require certain applicants to obtain a work permit before beginning employment. If this applies to you based on your age and state of residence, the Community Manager at the location where you are applying will provide guidance on the necessary steps. Any required work permit must be submitted to the Community at the time of hire to ensure compliance with state requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Make residents’ mornings special- Set the tone for their day by greeting them and delivering exceptional breakfast and lunch experience. You’ll carry trays, serve drinks and meals, explain the menu, take orders and anticipate residents’ needs to ensure every interaction feels personal and compassionate.
• Keep the dining room looking its best by clearing and resetting tables, carefully handling dishes, filling and refilling water carafes, and setting tables before meals.
• Help keep things clean and organized by vacuuming carpets, cleaning the salad bar, and completing other cleaning tasks as needed.
• Deliver room service meals and pick up trays with a friendly, positive attitude.
• Listen and respond kindly to resident comments or concerns and share feedback with a manager or supervisor when needed.
• Jump in and help where needed by completing support work and other tasks assigned by supervisors or managers.
