Job summary

Resort Lifestyle Communities in Florida is seeking a friendly Full-Time Server to create meaningful dining experiences for residents. You will greet residents, serve breakfast and lunch, carry trays, explain menus, and anticipate needs with warmth and care.

As part of a collaborative team, you’ll respond to feedback, keep the dining area tidy, deliver room service when needed, and support supervisors to maintain a positive, home-like environment. Join us to serve with heart.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years old.
• Availability to work Monday–Friday 7:30am–2:00pm with flexibility for evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Able to communicate effectively in English with residents, guests, and employees.
• Able to secure required food handler permits within two weeks of hire.
• State regulations may require a work permit depending on age/state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Make residents’ mornings special by greeting them and delivering breakfast and lunch.
• Carry trays, serve drinks and meals, explain the menu, take orders and anticipate residents’ needs.
• Clear and reset tables; keep the dining room tidy and welcoming.
• Deliver room service meals and pick up trays with a friendly attitude.
• Listen to resident comments and concerns and relay feedback to a supervisor.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned by supervisors or managers.

As a Full-Time Server, you’ll do more than serve meals, you’ll create meaningful dining experiences that bring joy to residents. As part of a collaborative team, you’ll share ideas, respond thoughtfully to feedback, and contribute to a positive, caring community environment.

What We’re Looking For

• Must be at least 15 years of age or older.
• Ability to work Monday-Friday 7:30am to 2:00pm with flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English with residents, guests, and employees.
• Ability to secure required food handler permits as required by local ordinances within two (2) weeks of hire.
• State regulations may require certain applicants to obtain a work permit before beginning employment. If this applies to you based on your age and state of residence, the Community Manager at the location where you are applying will provide guidance on the necessary steps. Any required work permit must be submitted to the Community at the time of hire to ensure compliance with state requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Make residents’ mornings special- Set the tone for their day by greeting them and delivering exceptional breakfast and lunch experience. You’ll carry trays, serve drinks and meals, explain the menu, take orders and anticipate residents’ needs to ensure every interaction feels personal and compassionate.
• Keep the dining room looking its best by clearing and resetting tables, carefully handling dishes, filling and refilling water carafes, and setting tables before meals.
• Help keep things clean and organized by vacuuming carpets, cleaning the salad bar, and completing other cleaning tasks as needed.
• Deliver room service meals and pick up trays with a friendly, positive attitude.
• Listen and respond kindly to resident comments or concerns and share feedback with a manager or supervisor when needed.
• Jump in and help where needed by completing support work and other tasks assigned by supervisors or managers.
