Job summary

Resort Lifestyle Communities is seeking a Full-Time Server to create meaningful dining experiences for residents. You will be part of a collaborative team and contribute to a positive, caring community environment.

Greet residents at breakfast and lunch, carry trays, serve drinks and meals, explain menus, take orders, and anticipate needs with thoughtful service. English communication is essential and flexibility is required for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years old.
• Ability to work Monday-Friday 7:30am to 2:00pm with flexibility to evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English with residents, guests, and employees.
• Ability to secure required food handler permits within two weeks of hire.
• State regulations may require a work permit before beginning employment and relevant steps will be provided by the Community Manager.

Responsibilities

• Make residents’ mornings special - greet them and deliver breakfast and lunch experiences, carry trays, serve drinks and meals, explain the menu, take orders and anticipate needs.
• Keep the dining room looking its best by clearing and resetting tables, handling dishes, filling water carafes, and setting tables before meals.
• Help keep things clean and organized by vacuuming carpets, cleaning the salad bar, and completing other tasks as needed.
• Deliver room service meals and pick up trays with a friendly, positive attitude.
• Listen and respond kindly to resident comments or concerns and share feedback with a manager.
• Jump in and help where needed by completing support work and other tasks assigned by supervisors.

What We’re Looking For

• Must be at least 15 years of age or older.
• Ability to work Monday-Friday 7:30am to 2:00pm with flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English with residents, guests, and employees.
• Ability to secure required food handler permits as required by local ordinances within two (2) weeks of hire.
• State regulations may require certain applicants to obtain a work permit before beginning employment. If this applies to you based on your age and state of residence, the Community Manager at the location where you are applying will provide guidance on the necessary steps. Any required work permit must be submitted to the Community at the time of hire to ensure compliance with state requirements.
