Neosho Area Chamber of Commerce in Neosho, MO seeks a Full-Time Senior Loan Processor to prepare loan documents and coordinate closings, applying policies while using independent judgment.
The role requires attention to detail, data entry accuracy, and ability to liaise with loan officers and customers; familiarity with lending regulations is preferred; occasional travel may be required.
This position is responsible for preparing documents to initiate and close loans. Work is performed within the framework of standard operating policies and procedures, however, independent judgment and discretion is required in performing assigned tasks. Deviations from normal procedures and/or questions are referred to the supervisor.

Possess a high school diploma or GED certification, plus additional education and/or training.
Two to three years of loan processing experience.
Knowledge of lending policies and procedures, compliance policies and procedures and disclosure and applicable state and federal regulation. Knowledge of Article 9 of the UCC and real estate laws pertaining to liens.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Ability to read, analyze and interpret compliance policies and procedures. Ability to comprehend required components of loan files.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Must have the ability to operate the following equipment: telephone, 10-key calculator, typewriter, personal computer and printer, copy machine, shredder, step stool and/or ladder, multi-drawer file cabinet, fax machine. Must have working knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing and database management software programs. Basic PC knowledge.
Has frequent contact with loan officers and customers.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to be bonded by Bank’s surety company.
