Monarch Communities, Brandywine by Monarch Communities, is seeking a Driver for a long-term care community in the area. You will provide transportation for residents to company-sponsored activities and medical appointments, working a full-time schedule from 8am to 4pm.

The role requires a high school diploma or higher, a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and prior experience driving seniors or in long-term care settings.

Formación

• High school diploma or higher level of education.
• Must be 21 year of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, with a driving record that is in good standing.
• Previous experience as a driver for seniors is highly preferred.
• Previous experience working long-term care, assisted living, skilled nursing is highly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Drives residents to and from their assigned destination in a safe manner
• Ensures the vehicle is inspected before each use to ensure it is safe and clean prior to leaving the community
• Ensures preventive maintenance and all other maintenance required, it performed in a timely manner
• Verifies that all passengers and their equipment (wheelchairs, walkers) are safely secured prior to departure
• Keeps an accurate record of all inspections, maintenance, and resident attendance
• Assist in resident activities within the community
