Job summary

Terraces of Boise—a HumanGood community in Boise, ID—seeks a full-time cook for 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM shifts. The role focuses on preparing food for Residential Living, Assisted Living, Memory Support, and Health Center Dining, ensuring quality, quantity, and sanitary standards.

Pay ranges from $20 to $23 per hour, depending on experience. Benefits include health plans, PTO, 401(k), HSA, education support, and more.

Qualifications

• Skilled nursing or retirement community cooking experience is required.
• Experience with dietary restrictions and modified diets is required.
• Scratch cooking experience is preferred.
• Fine dining or country club cooking experience is preferred.
• Culinary education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food, including but not limited to: washing, trimming, cutting, portioning, measuring, mixing, and panning.
• Cooks food including: baking, broiling, frying, steaming, braising, boiling, and pressure cooking.
• Operates and cleans all food preparation equipment, including grills, broilers, ovens, steamer tables, mixers, microwave ovens, toasters, etc.
• Complies with all food preparation standards and health and safety requirements.
• Maintains sanitary standards for the handling, transportation, and storage of food.
